| Description: | A lot of you asked for it, so here it is: Rotation and Deviation in one bundle. Two devices, two completely different takes on stereo. Rotation uses a Hilbert transform to build width from a quadrature pair, wide on headphones and intact in mono. It can also push width modulation up to audio rate, MIDI-synced to the last played note. Deviation deforms the waveform asymmetrically per channel, so the width comes out of the harmonic content itself. It gives your bass that PWM character, in stereo, and even on a sine wave (PWM is normally reserved for square waves). The built-in crossover also makes it easy to build a detail-preserving clipper by saturating the lows only. Different methods, different results. Now you can have both and save 10 EUR. |
